This is a true story.
Not symbolic…
Not imagined…
But one of those moments where reality opens just enough for you to realize there is far more happening than we typically perceive.
She Spoke First
I walked into a friend’s sound healing shop in Sedona one day, simply browsing… not looking for anything in particular.
And then I felt her. Before I even fully registered what I was looking at, I heard her clearly and directly:
“Please take me to your office… I wish to help you in your practice.”
If you have worked in expanded states of awareness, you know there is a difference between imagination and knowing.
This was knowing.
The Practical Mind Responds
So of course… I looked at the price tag… $3,200.
And just as clearly as she spoke to me, I responded:
“Show me the money… and I will take you.”
A very grounded reply.
The Space Between
I didn’t rush.
I stayed for a few hours, talking with the shop owner, simply being in the space.
There was no urgency.
No pressure.
Just a quiet awareness that something had already begun.
And Then… Alignment Appeared
When I was ready to leave, I checked my phone.
- Four people had signed up for classes
- Two people had reached out for sessions
I paused… did the math…It was the exact amount needed to purchase the gong.
In that moment, everything became very clear.
The Agreement
There was no hesitation.
I simply said:
“Okay.”
And I brought her home that day.
What This Experience Taught Me
Over the years, I’ve come to understand something deeply:
When something is truly aligned—
there is coherence between intention, energy, and form.
Things do not feel forced.
They do not feel pushed.
They arrive. Not always dramatically, but with unmistakable clarity.
More Than an Instrument
This gong was forged in the caves of Italy—places where sound carries differently, where vibration is shaped by the earth itself.
From the moment she entered my space, it was clear:
She is not just played.
She is worked with.
Her sound creates a field where:
- The mind softens
- The body releases
- Awareness shifts into deeper layers
A Portal Through Sound
When I strike her, the vibration does not simply move outward…
It draws you inward.
Into a space where:
- Thoughts quiet
- Time softens
- And something deeper begins to reorganize
Many people describe it as:
“I felt like I went somewhere…”
“I wasn’t asleep, but I wasn’t fully here…”
“Something shifted that I didn’t even know I was holding…”
This is the power of sound when it is aligned and intentional.
It bypasses the analytical mind and speaks directly to the body, the energy field, and the deeper aspects of self.
Why I Call Her “Señora”
Because she carries presence.
There is something ancient, feminine, and wise within her tone.
She does not overwhelm.
She invites.
A Final Reflection
I often say…
I don’t own this gong.
She chose where she wanted to be.
I simply listened.
